Christie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Eastern Nazarene College and a Master of Social Science Administration from Case Western Reserve University. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of New Hampshire and works in a private counseling practice in Windham, New Hampshire. She also volunteers as an Advanced Babywearing Educator with Babywearing International of the Merrimack Valley and is a member of Hike It Baby of the Merrimack Valley.
Christie is a lifelong outdoors enthusiast, and recognizes the role that rich outdoor experiences played in helping her mitigate stressful childhood events. She is a firm believer in the value of Thrive’s programming in helping children, adults, and teens live happier and healthier lives. She enjoys engaging with nature now through hiking, camping, trail running, and vegetable and herb gardening.
